Class 2 Delivery Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in Brighouse.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries to customers across the designated area, delivering beer kegs, cases, bottles and other products. You may be supported by a Driver’s Mate on larger deliveries.

Duties include:
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing multi-drop deliveries on scheduled routes
• Loading and unloading goods, including beer kegs and cases
• Collecting empty kegs, packaging and returnable items
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
• Complying with drivers’ hours, tachograph and health & safety regulations

The ideal candidate will have:
• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop delivery or logistics experience
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Experience with manual handling
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach
• Good geographical knowledge

Experience delivering drinks, kegs, FMCG or wholesale products would be advantageous.
This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling, so applicants must be comfortable with loading and unloading goods.
