We are working on behalf of a company that are the UK’s leading electric heating Ecommerce Group.

They are the UK’s leading online multi-channel electric heating retail group. With over 600+ products across 4 industry leading online stores. They sell a diverse range of electrical heating products to Britain’s homeowner’s, developers, tradespeople, landlords and commercial businesses.

The opportunity

As Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in the operational process. With an expanding product line and need for greater space, our growing warehouse centre needs determined, flexible, fit, accountable people with heaps of initiative to ensure every product is perfectly selected with the care and attention that our customers deserve.

You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to achieve great results and delight our customers. You’ll have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and will strive to deliver high standards, working both safely and efficiently at all times. You will thrive in a busy environment and be passionate about delivering goods ‘on time in full’, meaning our products arrive with our customers exactly when they need them.

What you’ll be doing
• Picking single and multiple product orders, utilising bar code scanners
• Packing customer orders
• Shadowing and pair working with helpful, collaborative colleagues
• Taking part in full training with the opportunity to obtain qualifications such as Forklift Truck driving
• Assisting in processing returns
• Quality checking items before despatching
• Adhering to warehouse health and safety rules and maintaining good practice
• General housekeeping duties
• Checking incoming deliveries
• Report any missing/ damaged products quickly and efficiently
• Maintaining stock levels by carrying out regular stock counts and cycle checks
• Taking part in regular team meetings and suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement
• Communicating with Head Office and Logistics team verbally and over email
• Unloading containers with great efficiency
